One thing is clear: After you got your tattoo, you have to care for it. After a few hours you have to remove the temporary bandagin. For the next couple of days apply a skin care cream (like Bephanthen plus): In the beginning three times a day, later you can reduce this procedure to two ore one time a day. Shower is ok, but don't take a bath or dont't go for a swimm in a pool or the sea. Protect your new tatoo from the sun.

Basically keep your new tattoo clean and dont't remove the scab. It will fall off after a week ot two. The amount of ink that remains in the skin throughout the healing process determines how robust the final tattoo will look. If a scab falls off too soon, (e.g. you scrape it off) then the ink will not be properly fixed in the skin.

Maybe you understand now, why it is not a good idea to go to a tattoo shop during your summer holiday.
